Yes. All peydsim eSIM plans support hotspot and tethering, so you can share your mobile data connection with other devices such as laptops, tablets or another phone.

Can I use my regular SIM card at the same time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We recommend keeping your regular SIM card active for calls and text messages while using your peydsim eSIM for mobile data.

That way you stay reachable on your existing phone number while enjoying affordable mobile data during your trip. Make sure “Allow Mobile Data Switching” is turned off, so your phone does not switch back to your local SIM card for internet while you are travelling.

When does my data plan start?

Accepted Answer

Your data plan starts automatically as soon as your eSIM first connects to a supported network in your destination country or region.

That means you can install your eSIM before your trip without starting the plan early — just make sure you have a stable internet connection while installing it.

Question 4

What happens when my data allowance is used up?

Accepted Answer

If you are using a limited data plan, your mobile data connection stops automatically once your data allowance has been used.

To stay connected, you can easily top up your data in the peydsim app, or purchase a new eSIM plan and install it using the QR code.

Unlimited plans are not affected by this limit and stay active according to the terms of the selected plan. A fair usage policy applies to them — see Why is my internet connection slow?

Does my eSIM expire even if I haven’t used it?

Yes. Most peydsim eSIMs expire 3 months after the purchase date, even if they have never been activated or used.

The exact validity period is shown on the product page before you complete your purchase.
