How do I install my eSIM?

Installing your eSIM only takes a few minutes. After your purchase you’ll receive a QR code by email, or find it on the purchase success page, along with installation instructions.

We recommend installing your eSIM before you travel, while you still have a stable internet connection. Your plan’s validity only starts once you land in your destination — see When does my data plan start?

iOS installation:

• Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM
• Scan the QR code, or select “Enter Details Manually” and enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code
• Your eSIM installs automatically

Android installation:

• Settings → Network & Internet (or Connections) → SIM Card Manager → Add eSIM
• Scan the QR code, or enter the activation details manually
• Your eSIM installs automatically

After installation (both iOS and Android):

• Activate → select “Abroad” → select “Data Only” → Finish
• Turn on the line and enable data roaming for your eSIM
• Do not delete your eSIM after installation — it cannot be reinstalled
• Turn off “Allow Mobile Data Switching” to prevent your phone from automatically switching back to your home number and using its data while you’re abroad

When should I install my eSIM?

Accepted Answer

Ideally before your trip, at home on Wi-Fi. Your plan only starts once your device connects to a supported network at your destination, so installing early doesn’t use up any data.

Question 3

I don’t have a QR code — only an activation code. What do I do with it?

Accepted Answer

You can enter the code manually: Settings → Mobile Data (or Connections) → Add eSIM → “Enter Details Manually”, then enter the SM-DP+ address and the activation code from your confirmation email.

Question 4

Can I install the same eSIM on several devices?

Accepted Answer

No. An eSIM is tied to a single device and each QR code can only be installed once. If you want to use it on a new device, please contact our support team.
